Foreword by Amanda Harlan Maltas

From a young age, Amanda Harlan pursued her passion for riding horses, which led her to spend years riding Dressage and progressing to join the U.S. Junior Olympic team, for whom she earned both silver and gold medals. Prior to graduating from the University of Southern California, Amanda spent her college years working for Wally’s Wine & Spirits, as well as LVMH, deepening her knowledge of wine. Amanda joined the family business in 2014 by working harvest at BOND. She then oversaw Sales and Client Relations for The Mascot, before becoming the Director of Communication for The Napa Valley Reserve and Meadowood Napa Valley, making her fully emersed in the Harlan family business.
